CubiCasa is seeking a partnership to own and develop our QA testing efforts and best practices. We are looking for a hungry-can-doer with understanding of web application and API interface testing.

As QA Manager, you will own the end-to-end testing strategy, ensuring every feature is robust and matches with our quality standards. You are in a key role of driving continuous improvement and acting as the final advocate for quality and usability across all platforms. You will work closely with our product, web and mobile teams to deliver a world class product to our users.

Core Services to be performed

• Strategy & Process Design: Establish the end-to-end testing lifecycle (STLC), including test libraries, bug reporting standards and release sign-off procedures.

• Hands-on Execution: Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing for web-based applications, including APIs associated with application usage

• Mentorship: Mentor existing junior QA resources, providing guidance on best practices and test case design, within the context of best practices and any new processes developed.

• Tooling Selection: Research and recommend a formal testing stack (test management, bug tracking, and potential automation) that fits budgets and tech needs.

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in QA, with a proven track record of testing complex web applications.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, DevTools) and how different browsers/devices impact the user experience.

  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Testing Methodologies: Deep knowledge of various testing types and the skill to know which methodologies match best to the project, initiative, and project timelines.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to translate and extract information from business requirements, including driving clarity where requirements may be vague, into detailed, actionable test cases.
