HR Business Partner
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to support our People operations across our growing global team with a specific focus in Finland. In this critical role, you will be a key partner to the leadership team, responsible for developing the strategic direction of our HR function while also managing its day-to-day, hands-on administrative execution.
You will champion our culture and drive the initiatives that make our company a fantastic place to work, ensuring our HR practices are seamless, compliant, and scalable as we grow. This is the perfect opportunity for a versatile, "roll-up-your-sleeves" HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, international technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to attract, interview, and hire top-tier technical and non-technical talent. Evolve our international onboarding program to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one.
Employee Relations & Culture: Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for employees and managers on all HR matters, including performance management and career development.
Performance Management: Lead and iterate on our company-wide performance review and feedback cycles, coaching managers on delivering constructive feedback and fostering employee growth.
Compliance & Operations: Ensure HR compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Manage employment contracts, visa processes, and policy development in cooperation with the legal department.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer and analyze our compensation and benefits programs, conducting market research to ensure we remain competitive and equitable across all regions.
HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company's business objectives and support our scaling efforts.
Learning & Development: Identify company-wide training needs and coordinate the delivery of effective L&D programs to support manager and employee development.
Other administrative tasks as needed: manage the administrative side of the employee lifecycle and partnering with outsourced payroll partner. Including also e.g. employment certificates, equipment procurement (phones/laptops), and benefit platform management (e.g., lunch benefits).
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an e.g. HR manager or senior HR Generalist role.
Proven experience in a fast-paced technology, SaaS, or startup environment.
A broad "HR generalist" background covering the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to employee relations and operations.
Practical knowledge of Finnish labor laws and compliance requirements
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluency in English
Ability to use Gsuite, Slack and other technical tools in their work
